FHM originally began as the Florida Hotel-Motel Self-Insurer’s Fund eventually converting to a mutual insurer in 1996 as FHM Insurance Company. Since its conversion, FHM has significantly diversified, insuring employers in a wide variety of industries. FHM Insurance has also grown to write coverage in Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.

Adding a new chapter to the Company’s history, in 2020 FHM Insurance Company partnered with LUBA Casualty Insurance Company providing an additional coverage option to its policyholders and agency partners.
